Blepharoplasty

The procedure of Blepharoplasty is carried out in a similar fashion in both sexes. However it is important in men to appreciate that over-tightening the lower eyelid can produce an obvious ‘operated upon’ look, which is slightly unnatural. Men considering lower Blepharoplasty will be carefully assessed in clinic in order to get the maximal balance between surgical correction and a natural look.

Upper Blepharoplasty in men is closely related to the position of the Brow - much more so than in women. For this reason, it is quite common for male patients to require a Brow Lift in addition to upper Blepharoplasty.
